Some customers express concerns about staffing shortages, especially during peak hours, which can lead to slower service. Despite the staff's friendly demeanor, the hustle can sometimes affect the dining experience.
Another point of contention is related to the limited selection of ice cream flavors, as the focus remains on vanilla, though it's prepared impeccably. This can leave those seeking variety feeling a bit restricted, despite the numerous sundae options available.
One of the nicest fish and chip meals I’ve had! Fried haddock cooked to perfection with a huge portion of delicious cooked chips that tasted like the ones we had growing up! Served with a couple of lemon wedges and salt and vinegar it didn’t need anything else …I’m sure it’s cooked in beef dripping and it certainly makes a difference with the taste! Served with a pot of tea and I had to try one of their ice cream sundaes. I opted for the chocolate and honeycomb one which was very good. I like that they only have vanilla ice cream as it’s done very well and they’ve got a huge selection of various options for Sundays so I’m sure it’s the perfect ice cream parlour option for children.! The owner / chef was whistling all the classic Italian ballads … better than the radio! I struggled so eat all my food as the portions were huge but highly recommended!
Wouldn’t bother go anywhere else for chips! This must be the only place in town cooking their chips in Beef drippings, the way chips should be cooked! Really good battered fish! Old school Italian family ran chippy, hard to beat.
Very nostalgic decor, felt like I was on holiday. Best fish and homemade chips we've had. Would travel from Belfast just for this!
Nice old Italian cafe like going back in time Had the best chips I’ve ever had like the ones your mum used to make in the old chip pan Also does great ice cream sundaes massive list to choose from Extra marks for the Italian owner who whistles Italian love songs in the background
Lots of childhood memories of my Mother taking me to Fiorentinis for a Teddy Bear's Picnic ice cream, and today I took my own 3 year old daughter for her first one 🥰. There was a shortage of staff but the staff who were working were so attentive and friendly despite being rushed off their feet. Food was perfect and the ice cream topped it all off. Glad to see a local business so busy. We will be back again soon ❤️
Best place to get a fry in L’Derry! The fry includes americano or tea! Staff were really friendly as well!
